Three comparisons, written by us, about our own competitors. Each one names the things they do better than we do, because you are going to find those out anyway and it is cheaper for everyone if you find them out here. foot.io is in closed beta and run by one developer; every number below is measured and checkable.
Competitor figures come from their public pricing and documentation, checked 28 Jul 2026. foot.io figures were measured against production, most recently on 10 Aug 2026.
Flat-priced like us, ~1,200 leagues, ~15-second in-play updates. The live-data comparison.
They win on: live latency, league breadth, being a real company.
Read the comparison →League-scoped plans from ~€29 to ~€249/mo with stacking add-ons. The licensing comparison.
They win on: licensed depth, contractual guarantees, redistribution rights.
Read the comparison →12 free competitions, paid from ~€12/mo plus ~€15 add-ons. The free-tier comparison.
They win on: price, simplicity, years of proven reliability.
Read the comparison →Comparison pages are usually written to win, which is why nobody believes them. These are written to be checkable instead. The rules we hold ourselves to:
curl that would catch us exaggerating.foot.io is a closed beta. Self-serve checkout is not open, there is no SLA on the self-serve tiers, live fixtures are polled on a five-minute cycle from a single machine, and current-season depth is partial — roughly half of played current-season matches carry events and roughly a third carry lineups, 40,775 and 26,123 of 79,698, measured on 6 August 2026. Player market values and injury records came off the API surface entirely on 28 Jul 2026 because we could not defend our right to re-serve them, and they have not come back. Since 29 Jul 2026 a licence gate has enforced the same rule everywhere: every tier, Enterprise included, reads only the rows we hold an explicit right to redistribute. We hold 1,177,209 matches; every tier reads 733,863 of them (62.3%). Of the events we hold, every tier reads 42.9%; of lineups, 32.9% — measured on 10 August 2026, and growing as clearances land. The top five leagues' event and lineup layer, transfers and all shot-level data are still not part of it.
None of that is in the comparisons to look humble. It is there because this market's buyers run the query, and a claim that dies on first contact with a curl costs more than the sale was worth.
